KATE HEYWARD

Kate is the original RMA online coach she has been coaching since 2013 and has been with RMA from its inception. She is an Accredited Coach and Level 2 Intermediate Recreational Running Coach and Level 1 Community Athletics Coach (Athletics Australia). Kate has significant experience coaching runners to their personal goals, be that learning to run their first parkrun, to 10k, half or full marathon personal bests, or trail ultra-marathons. My coaching is individual, none of her runners are on the same schedule even if they have similar goals or are training for the same event – it all depends on you, your history, your running, your work, your availability to train and any other demands on you, or your time.

Personally as a runner she has had vast experiences and has focussed on most of the various distances both road and trail – She does love to run fast; with 5k PB of 18:25, 10k 38:38, half marathon 1:24 and marathon 3:03, but she also loves to run long in the trails, her favourite so far being Tarawawera 50k in 5hrs40, and 100k in Taupo, New Zealand in 12hrs, an amazing experience.

Kate lives in Regional NSW training in the state forest bush and on local ovals. If you’re after a personal but adaptive program, a coach that is there for you, providing mentoring and support, along with the accountability you need to get you to your goals, then Kate is the coach for you.
You can contact Kate at coachkateheyward@gmail.com or alternatively here. Please mention you found Kate via the RMA website.

JENNY MORRIS

Jenny has been Coaching runners since May 2017 and is located in Cammeray, Northern Sydney. She started coaching when she realised her love of giving back to the running community and knew there were lots of mums that wanted that extra push in their training, or just someone to do the thinking for them. She has achieved great results with mums returning to running post babies and has coached runners to achieve amazing results in all distances from 5km to Ultra marathon distances up to 165km. Jenny recently completed Coast to Kosci (C2K); a 242km Ultramarathon from Eden to Mt Kosciusko and knows what it takes to get you through any training program too! Jenny is looking forward to helping you achieve your goal in any distance, whether it be to achieve a PB, achieve a new goal or increase your distance. She offers very individual and personal on line coaching via the Final Surge platform which is easy to use and accessible via your phone or computer. I’m always available via message or a phone call and return all communication within 24hours. All programs will be available and in advance with 2-3 weeks projection at all times to allow you to plan your busy lives. Jenny’s running has evolved quickly from her first Half Marathon in 2013, having now lost count on her marathons, and running Ultra Marathon distances most weekends in training. She has completed several 100km Ultras, and her first miler in 2019. Jenny primarily loves the longer stuff, being out in nature, but uses the road and track to pick up her pace when needed. Jenny is an accredited Level 2 Intermediate Recreational Running Coach (Athletics Australia). You can contact Jenny via email at Jennymorris9@hotmail.com or on her Final Surge here.
